A niche fragrance sold on a white background. The bottle is named after a painter - so I gave it his studio.
The product photo does its job: white background, sharp label, no story. It works in a catalog and disappears in a feed. A fragrance sells a world, and this one had no world - just a bottle floating in nothing.

Raffaello. The product was already telling me where it lives - a Renaissance studio in Rome. I just built the room around it.

A single source, low and warm, raking across the table. Everything in the frame is lit by the same sun. That's what makes a composite read as a photograph instead of a collage.

Depth of field does the selling. The bottle is the only sharp thing in the frame - the studio, the portrait, the hand all fall away. The eye has nowhere else to go.
